Like milestone birthdays. Retirement. An empty nest. Changing careers. Downsizing or relocating. Returning to school. Losing a loved one. Relationship beginnings or endings. And sure enough, all that adds up to a whole bunch of transition.
Yet, transition is a shape-shifter, with the ability to take on an altogether different form. It may show up, unbidden, when nothing out of the ordinary has happened in your external world. Just when life seems to be chugging along, you arrive at a stop sign that wasn’t supposed to be there. And with that you begin to question everything, especially what you value and what gives you meaning.
MOST OF LIFE, AS IT TURNS OUT, IS ABOUT TRANSITION IN ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.
But the thing is, whether your transition is internal or external, or a combination of the two, it’s about both being and doing. In fact, transition is all of this:
- An invitation to look inward
- A time to get to know yourself better
- A chance to explore your deepest yearnings
- A push to step up and start living your life the way you really want to
Let’s face it, though: in spite of all these good things, transition can feel a little like chaos.
But when we work together, you’ll begin to notice less chaos, more flow:
- You’ll understand transition better and feel more comfortable in it
- You’ll dig a little deeper to discover what wants to be lived in you
- Your creativity, wisdom, and intuition will perk up
- You’ll start designing actions that honor this next phase of your life
- You’ll experience a sense of renewal, and a genuine connection to life itself
I’ll be right there by your side, too.
Helping you stay focused. Being an ally and sounding board. Compassionately holding you accountable to your commitments. And supporting you as you move through your transition journey.
