Why do I write a blog?
In a nutshell: I’m fascinated by how human beings create meaning, particularly in certain areas of life: work, relationships, creativity, transitions, life balance, and personal growth.
You may have noticed that I didn’t use words like seek or search or quest to talk about meaning. That’s because meaning is available right here, right now. But sometimes we postpone immediate experiences of meaning in favor of an idealized vision that will happen some day.
So I write about how meaning intersects with experience and action: what it is, how we get there, what trips us up. I also view experience and action through a wide angle lens, because I absolutely believe they’re both internal and external. Inner work and outer work. Being and doing.
I try to post regularly, and in the fall of 2010 I'll be posting on Thursdays.
And by the way, you can even get WHY NOT START NOW? delivered to your email or feed reader every single week. What a deal, huh? I promise to keep your information strictly confidential. So come join my merry band of meaning makers by clicking here.
I welcome comments on my blog, too. I even answer every one, except when I'm out of town. So if you feel so inclined, please do join the conversation.
My blog is hosted by wordpress, and once you get over there you’ll see a button that will easily return you to my website.

I also had the pleasure of interviewing Joe Cunningham, aka Joe the Quilter. In the interview we explore stories, archetypes, and creativity, and Joe talks about his own creative journey.
